Mr. Rountree has over 30 years of legal and risk management experience. As General Counsel for PIC Group, Inc., he is responsible for all legal and regulatory matters. Prior to this, Mr. Rountree was Managing Attorney for GE Contractual Services, a division of GE Energy, where he led a team of attorneys based in Atlanta and London that served as lead counsel for domestic and international transactions involving equipment & parts sales, long-term service agreements and operation & maintenance agreements. Mr. Rountree began his legal career with the law firms of Anderson Kill Olick & Oshinsky in Washington, DC and Hunton & Williams in Atlanta, where he represented corporate clients in all aspects of complex, multi-party litigation. Prior to his long legal career, Mr. Rountree was a Consultant with the Advanced Risk Management Services Division of Corroon & Black Corporation, a national insurance brokerage firm subsequently acquired by Willis Group, where he advised Fortune 500 corporations on risk management programs and plans. Prior to that, Mr. Rountree was a Consultant with AIG Risk Management, where he developed and implemented alternative risk financing programs for Fortune 500 corporations integrating elements of traditional insurance, reinsurance and various financing instruments. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law where he was an Executive Editor of the Tennessee Law Review and a Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Florida State University College of Business.
