PRIVACY STATEMENT PURPOSE

The information in this Privacy Statement is designed to assist you in understanding how this site collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to PIC Group, Inc.

 

WHAT INFORMATION DOES PIC COLLECT AND HOW DOES PIC USE IT?

This site collects two types of information: (1) personal information you actively choose to disclose to PIC by submitting such information to PIC through this site (“Active Information”) and (2) information collected, unknown by you, on an anonymous basis, from users of this site (“Passive Information.”)

 

ACTIVE INFORMATION YOU DISCLOSE

When you register for an account with PIC’s Career Center, PIC requires, at a minimum, the disclosure of your name and email address. In order to make use of the services of the Career Center, you must disclose additional personal information including, but not limited to, your address, contact information and information in your resume. Active Information submitted to the Career Center shall be used by PIC to match your credentials and experience with opportunities available at PIC. By submitting Active Information to the Career Center site, you are consenting to the use of your Active Information as described in this Policy Statement and to the Terms and Conditions of Use Agreement which may be accessed on the PIC homepage. If you choose to submit Active Information to PIC by means other than submittal through the site, such Active Information will be subject to the terms of this Privacy Statement. Under no circumstances should you disclose your social security number to PIC unless you are required to do so for payroll purposes.

 

PASSIVE INFORMATION COLLECTED

From time to time, this site may employ available technology (“cookies”) to collect information from your computer regarding the use of this site. Cookies technology provides for the collection of Passive Information which may include, but is not be limited to the date of time of visits to this site; the site pages viewed each visit; time spent at this site and the sites visited immediately prior and immediately after accessing this site. Passive Information is gathered separately from Active Information. Passive Information is gathered in order to make improvements to this site. If you do not wish to transmit Passive Information during your visit to this site, you may turn off the cookies function in your web browser. RESUMES

Resumes may be submitted to the Career Center in one of the following ways: (1) submitting your resume to the Career Center through this site and (2) directly emailing your resume to the Career Center for automatic data extraction to the Career Center database. PIC makes all reasonable efforts to restrict access to the Career Center database to PIC personnel directly involved in the recruitment process including, but not limited to, recruiters, hiring managers, and human resources personnel. Third party users of the Career Center only have access to their own Active Information.

 

SHARING INFORMATION AS REQUIRED BY LAW

PIC shall comply with all applicable laws requiring the disclosure of Active Information and Passive Information. By providing such information on this site, you are consenting to such disclosure by PIC.

 

HOW DOES PIC SECURE ACTIVE INFORMATION?

PIC will secure Active Information submitted through this site using PIC’s reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, or accidental loss or destruction of Active Information. Communication with PIC through means other than this site may not be secure. If you choose to communicate with PIC through such other means, you are assuming the risk that such communication is not secure. PIC prefers that you do not send personal information through such non-secure means.

MODIFYING OR DELETING ACTIVE INFORMATION

If you wish to have your access deleted from the Career Center, please log on and send your request via the support link at the top of the site window. The Reply-Address in this request must match the email address that has been entered in the Personal Information section of the Career Center for your account.
