Steve Honeyman
Vice President of Finance & Accounting
Steve Honeyman has almost 20 years of financial management and reporting experience and currently oversees the domestic and international financial and accounting operations for PIC Group and its seven foreign subsidiaries. As VP Finance & Accounting, he also serves as Treasurer and Secretary of the Corporation and serves on the company’s Compliance Committee.
In his role, he effectively manages the company’s working capital and financial resources to ensure PIC Group is able to fully fund on-going field operations and meet the expectations of PIC’s customers. In addition, he excels at evaluating financial results, comparison to budgets and reforecasting in order to provide Senior Management and Shareholders with the best information possible to drive business decisions.
Steve is a Certified Public Accountant and spent the first seven+ years of his career with two of the “Big 4″ global auditing firms before joining PIC Group.
During his career, Steve has served as:
- Vice President of Finance and Accounting, PIC Group, Inc.
He joined PIC Group as controller and was involved in accounting and taxation of the company. After 4 years, he was promoted to Vice President and supported international growth by opening branches in the UK, Nigeria, Philippines while managing the company’s accounting function.
- Experienced Manager, EY (Ernst & Young)
Steve gained valuable experience in Sarbanes-Oxley and the compliance, design and execution of J-Sox including US subsidiary reporting, internal controls and Japanese business practices.
- Senior Audit Associate, Pricewaterhouse Coopers
He was engaged in the consolidation of a $1.8 billion international client operating in over 30 countries and he also gained a great deal of experience in proper inventory valuation and testing.
Steve earned his Bachelors’ of Science degree in Finance and a degree in Accounting from Florida State University and throughout his career, he has developed professional expertise in the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Steve’s international and domestic financial expertise is important to the on-going operations and international growth of the company.
