Frank Avery brings over 20 years of hands-on, insightful executive leadership with five of the world’s largest power industry service providers to PIC Group.  His depth of experience gives him the unique ability to focus PIC Group’s expertise and resources on the effective management and performance of its worldwide O&M, Startup & Commissioning, Training and Documentation and Staffing services.

 

As CEO of PIC Group, Inc., he has introduced an innovative new O&M product strategy to the market and streamlined PIC Group’s service offerings to better align with customer demand.  In addition, he continues developing a corporate culture that is laser-focused on flawless contract execution and on-time delivery to assure long-term customer satisfaction.

 

Frank’s power industry leadership positions have included:

 

  • Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President, Toshiba Americas Energy Systems
    Frank had full P&L accountability for the Thermal Services division, which provides aftermarket parts, services and repairs for Toshiba’s OEM fleet in the Americas.  He was also responsible for managing the Other OEM (OOEM) Steam Turbine and Generator repair business.

 

  • President, EthosEnergy Power Plant Services
    As president of the former Wood Group Power Plant Services, Frank was responsible for all aspects of Heavy Industrial Gas and Steam Turbine Parts, Repair and Service business.

 

  • President, Wood Group Power Plant Services
    Responsible for achieving annual projections and setting the strategic direction, he managed the business through the required changes, developed the go-to-market sales strategy and delivered on the operational effectiveness of the organization.

 

  • President, Wood Group Operations & Maintenance Services (O&M)
    Frank set a plan in place to enter the market with value-based O&M services that were differentiated from other service providers.  Responsible for all aspects of the new business startup, the business successfully grew to become the number two Power Generation O&M service provider in the market in just a few short years – earning an award from the CEO of Wood Group.

 

  • Senior Risk Manager, General Electric Contractual Services
    After serving six years in the U.S. Navy, Frank spent five years with General Electric as a senior risk manager for long-term service agreements.

 

Frank’s executive leadership and extensive industry experience has positioned him to effectively expand PIC’s global reach and to create an ambitious, customer-focused vision for the future.
